All the isolates decreased significantly the populations of the mite up to 56 days after were sprayed as fragmented my Celia at 1% w/v in distilled water. Only one isolate was c.arrying out a good control of the post 90 days after being applied. Hirsutella sp was found in several places of the country as a natural control agent of R. elaeis. Sulfur and copper oxychloride were tested as in vitro inhibitors of H. thompsonii. Concentrations ranging from 50 to 500 ppm, caused a significant decrease in mycelial growth, sporulation, and conidial germination.
