First record of the family Heloridae (Hymenoptera: Proctotrupoidea) for Colombia

The family Heloridae (Hymenoptera: Proctotrupoidea) is recorded here for the first time from Colom- bia, based on a single specimen of Helorus brethesi, collected from a fragmented landscape in the Colombian Andes.
