Main Article Content
We discuss the four species of Atta leaf-cutter ants which occur in Colombia, including A. cephalotes ( Linnaeus), A. colombica Guérin, A. laevigata (F. Smith), and A. sexdens (Linnaeus). We present keys for the soldiers, workers (medium and smaller), females, and males. Distribution maps are included for each of the species.
